Valentine's Day brings the 'red' out in all of us.  We see through our heartsvalentine couple on this special day to show our loved ones how much we appreciate them.

You can use red in the special breakfast or dinner for your valentine(see our recipe tab), red and white placemats and dishes, and of course red flowers and cards. You could also add special Valentine Day balloons, red and white candy minature hearts or paper hearts on your table. Red wine or maybe a pomegrante martini, will add to the romantic feeling. Rose petals are also a nice touch, maybe in the bedroom...

Adding red to your living room will also set the mood - red candles and flowers, possibly some pillows or throw, and perhaps some whimsical paper Valentines from the dollar store. Be prepared for some lively conversation when using red in your colour scheme - it brings out our energy levels and makes us more lively. And don't forget the chocolate - perhaps white chocolate on a red plate or napkin. And chocolate can begin at breakfast - it's never too early for chocolate.

Here's to a great Valentine's Day.  Treat your sweetie to some special treats...
